New production facility
[23/06/2022] With the pick-and-place tested, we decided that an automatic soldering station would be great. It arrived together with an ESD-safe workfloor and a transport-unit. In true EVAbits style, the first PCB ran from pnp to oven.
VIA grant for EVAjig
[17/06/2022] With several project that went into production, we have seen that adequate, automated testing is expensive, especially for small series. We decided that a generic testing platform should be created: the EVAjig. We are glad that the development of the EVAjig, so it has just been confirmed, is supported by SNN (VIA2021-plus).
New Pick and Place
[15/02/2022] The new Pick-and-Place arrived yesterday and we immediately unwrapped and installed it. It takes some time to get to know the machine and its software, but today the first component were picked and placed. With this machine we can offer in-house, professional fabrication of series up to 100 - quickly and reliably.
Evabits expands
[01/02/2022] We welcome our first employees, Jeroen Westers and Harm Hongerkamp. Both were former interns. Harm will focus on PCB design and production, while Jeroen works 100% on the first product thet will fully developed by EVAbits.
Grand Opening
[12/03/2022] Today we opened our place with an informal gathering with food and drinks. It was unfortunate that some guests had to cancel because of the Corona counter measures. Despite that, we had a great time and hope that our guests had the same.
Headquarters
[06/02/2020] With the start of the new year, we can be found at our new address in Groningen. In a shared space with Medusa Explorations and De Wegenscanners, we have our own prototyping laboratory. After years of work, we finally have our name on a building!
